He co-founded EnKash in 2018 with two other Co-founders, Hemant Vishnoi and Yadvendra Tyagi who also come with hands-on experience in this space. Naveen is a stalwart who comes with 20+ years of experience in the Cards and Payments Industry.
Prior to launching EnKash, Naveen was leading the Product & Technology vertical at CitrusPay where he was instrumental in business scaling and achieving the highest conversion rates. EnKash is revolutionising the Cards and Corporate Payments industry in India by deploying a holistic approach. On one hand, it issues Corporate Cards to businesses for their B2B payments, on the other, it provides an API Stack (CardX) for FIs, Fintech and Non-fintech companies to issue their own Card/Wallet/Reward programs. The Fintech Start-up has so far raised a total of USD 23 Million after bagging USD 20 Million in a Series B funding round in April 2022. The round was led by Ascent Capital and joined by Baring India & Singapore-based White Ventures. It also saw participation from EnKash’s existing investors, Mayfield India and Axilor Ventures. He was instrumental in setting & scaling up India’s 1st payment gateway by ICICI bank. Later, he led South Asia business for MoneyGram, a global player in cross-border payments. He also led business for CitrusPay pre & post its acquisition by PayU. It was under his leadership that card acceptance was enabled for full-service carriers including international airlines in India while working in ICICI bank, and later for low-cost carriers when working with CitrusPay.
He co-founded EnKash out of his experience that most innovations in the last one and a half decade happened on the consumer payments side but B2B payments and solutions lacked value creation. Today, the Fintech company caters to the entire spectrum of the Cards and Payments industry. On one hand, it issues Corporate Cards to businesses for their B2B payments, on the other, it provides an API Stack (CardX) for FIs, Fintech and Non-fintech companies to issue their own Card/BNPL/Reward programs.
